Who we work with.
Organisations in this sport that we work alongside. Who each of them is, in their own terms.
National governing body
USEF
United States Equestrian Federation
The United States Equestrian Federation is the national governing body for equestrian sport in the United States. It licenses competitions, writes the rulebook those competitions are run to, and keeps the national record of horses, riders and results.
It is the organisation whose rules decide, hundreds of times a day at any licensed show, whether an entry is valid.
International governing body
FEI
Fédération Équestre Internationale
The Fédération Équestre Internationale is the international governing body for equestrian sport. It writes the rules for international competition and sanctions events worldwide.
Its rulebook is the one an international class is run to, wherever in the world the class is held.
National hunter, jumper and equitation organisation
USHJA
United States Hunter Jumper Association
The United States Hunter Jumper Association is the national organisation for hunter, jumper and equitation sport in the United States. It sets the standards and runs the programs that shape those divisions.
Those are the divisions a competitor enters at a show, and its standards are the ones they are run to.
Equine health compliance
EquiTrace
EquiTrace is an equine health compliance service. It records and verifies the health documentation that decides whether a horse is cleared to compete.
RingTime connects to it through its API, so a horse's health status is checked as part of entry rather than by hand.
Timing, scoring and videoboards
Sarmiento Show Services
Sarmiento Show Services is an equestrian sport service provider. It specialises in timing and scoring software and in LED videoboard rentals.
That is the equipment and the software a jumper ring runs on: the clock the round is against, the score that goes up, and the board the crowd reads it from.
Animal health documentation
GlobalVetLink
GlobalVetLink is an animal health documentation company. Its equine products cover the paperwork a horse needs in order to travel: Coggins test results, certificates of veterinary inspection, and extended equine certificates of veterinary inspection.
Those are the documents that have to be in order before a horse goes anywhere.
